What was Einstein's IQ?

Albert Einstein's IQ is not known for certain because he never took any formal IQ test.

However, both during his lifetime and after his death, his IQ has been estimated in various ways:

In the 1930s: A psychologist estimated that Einstein's IQ was around 180.

In the 1990s: Another psychologist estimated his IQ to be between 160–165, based on his childhood performance and achievements.

In 2020: A study analyzed the size and structure of his brain, and estimated that his IQ may have been around 170.

Einstein was certainly an extremely intelligent man, and his scientific contributions changed the world.
